Papa Leo's Pizzeria | Our Story

It started with a crayon

It started with a crayon

Before Parker Greenman ever owned a pizza shop, he drew one. He still has the crayon drawings to prove it.

Wheatfield, then Lockport

The first Papa Leo's opened in Wheatfield in 1995. Lockport followed in 2004.

The family behind the counter

Kandy, Alex, Nick, Matt and Duncan all help manage the shops, and Papa is proud of every one of them. His grandson Chase was two when we last wrote this down, practicing with crayons just like his grandfather did.
Dough and sauce, every morning

Dough and sauce, every morning

We start each day making the dough and sauce from scratch. Our wings come in fresh daily and never frozen, and the sub rolls are baked fresh too.

The sweet sauce

We like to keep the menu as fresh as the ingredients, so we added Cup & Char pepperoni and a sweet pizza sauce. Put them together on a pie. One of our regulars swears by that combination.

Giving back

Every holiday season we team up with Lockport Main Street Inc. to put hundreds of pizzas in the hands of local kids. As Papa says, "I hope to give something back to our community every day."
